Duluth, Minnesota – Coupleafti after Bailey Builds is feeling love thanks to the appearance of hit Netflix “Love is blind”.
Season 8 of love is premiered in Netflix on February 14 and follows single from Minneapolis. On Friday, viewers will find out which couples ended up getting married.
This season contains the highlights of twin cities – from restaurants to the best points of the night. But it is also giving a larger platform for some mining artists.
“It was wild because I’m a great love is a blind fan,” Anna Bailey said.
Anna revealed her passion for the art of the wood mosaic about a decade ago. It started when she did not want to spend $ 300 for a Spanish courtyard chair, so she decided to build herself.
“I just started learning how to use power tools,” Anna recalled. “Then once I got into it, there was a lot of scrap wood on the ground and I didn’t want the scrap tree to go to the loss. So I was trying to think of creative ways to use waste and started manipulating them and forming them to do artwork for the walls. As I started doing it, I just got a lot of commitment and interaction.”
Anna’s husband, Nathanael Bailey, joined two years later.
Bailey Builds has been around in Duluth for almost 10 years.
Last year, saved by Grace Home Staging and Design at Minneapolis contacted the couple for an opportunity.
“In the initial contact of the emails, all that Gotova was a big Netflix TV show and filming in Minneapolis. So honestly, I just started drowsiness and there was already some kind of rumor that love is blind would be filmed in Minneapolis,” Anna said.
Anna eventually confirmed her suspicions when signing a non-discovery agreement.
Bailey Builds was asked to provide her artwork to appear in the apartments where couples stayed during filming. They helped organize the apartments with their 70 parts.
“There are some very popular scenes with Joey and Monica. We sat in the same bed before that art work and took pictures. So we were actually the first love is blind people … The first love is the blind couple in bed,” Nathanael said.
Anna added, “We’ve only married 25 years.”
For a year, the couple had to keep the news secret.
“We make a lot of art fairs throughout Midwest and in fact all over the country. So it’s hard not to tell everyone in your cabin like …” This correct part was actually in love is blind, “Nathanael said.
But after viewers arrived in love are the blind episodes that display their works of art, Anna said calls and direct messages began to flood with fans who know their parts.
“This has honestly been one of the biggest surprises, I think, for me as an artist, but then the biggest compliment,” Anna said.
Cast members have also contacted the couple.
“We were going to a movie last night, and I chose my phone, and got a text from Joey,” Anna said.
Baileys hope to give each member of the cast a piece of art from their apartments.
“We’ve definitely seen an increase in sales,” Anna said. “Honestly, this time of the year for us as artists … it’s slow. So come this at this time has been very useful to help pay bills.”
