East Georgia (EGSC) State College has launched its new Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), providing students with an affordable and flexible path to advance their business education and career.
This semester, East Georgia State College (EGSC) marked an exciting historical moment with the beginning of its new Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), created to empower students with the skills and knowledge needed to flourish in the competitive world of business. Drawing on the most popular program of college collaborators, the expansion of the program as a bachelor’s degree provides a way for students to complete their business education in EGSC than to be transferred to another institution.
Launching the BBA program not only offers exciting opportunities for traditional students, but also attracts those seeking to further their careers or start new – like amberDirector of Operations in the Great Chamber Vidalia, who decided to return to college after marrying her husband, began a family and began her career in the room.
Amber’s journey returning to college was not a typical. After graduating from her high school at Wheeler District High School, she attended a college for a short time attending a degree in education. Amber quickly discovered that the path was not for it. She decided to take a break from the college. After this decision, Amber and her husband, Chase, married and she began working in the big room Vidalia. Amber always thought of returning to college to complete a degree to help her shine in her position in the room. She also had another motivation-her three-year-old girl.
“Sure, there is a lot of work there that do not require a college degree, but I want to be able to tell my little girl one day you can do it if you put your mind. I also know that with that I have the opportunity to make more money in order to help provide it with the things they need and want, ”Amber said.
Amber has family members with small businesses and her husband has also talked about starting one. Having a business diploma would allow her to help her family and husband if they sometimes need someone of business background.
Amber became enrolled in an institution, but quickly discovered that it could participate in EGSC for half the price and still have the flexibility of classes online. Having a full -time job, a young child and a spouse who travels often for work, Amber knew she needed a program that would work with her schedule and be flexible when she needed it . With the help and encouragement of Natasha Goss, an EGSC business professor, Amber transferred to EGSC to follow its rank Associates.
“Returning to college can be very big at first,” Amber said. “Professor’s professor with whom I interacted in the birth of Georgia has been encouraging. They post encouraging words on the student portal and push you to do your best. They may not know what we are going through, but they stay positive and give positive feedback that can make a big difference. “
Amber graduated in December with its associate grade of business administration and has decided to continue its education in the Bachelor of Business Administration program at EGSC.
“I was very excited to hear that East Georgia was starting the bachelor’s program. Continuing flexibility and affordability helped me make the decision to continue. I thought about making another break, but I knew it would be very difficult to go back to college after I rest, ”Amber said.
Amber said she was also motivated to continue from her little daughter and professors at EGSC.
“Professor Natasha Goss has helped me a lot. She is one of my biggest supporters and means a lot to have someone on the side of the college that supports me. She and others encouraged me to continue in the bachelor program because they know I have it in me. “
