Electronic arts a focus for food

Benton Bainbidge wanted to create a place in Erye, where video, digital and healthy artists could create, expose, preserve and innovate art. This led to the creation of the Feed Media Arts Center, which is expecting performances and exhibitions, visiting artists and providing settlements every two months giving artists studio space.

Gannon University begins the second century

Gannon University traces its roots in 1925, when St. Joseph’s sisters opened Villa Maria College for women. Monsignor Joseph Wehrle had promised a college education to some boys of the Cathedral Preparatory School and addressed the sisters to provide separate classes for them.

Milcreek Mall strikes 50-year-old

The tenant cast has changed over the last half century, but Milcreek Mall remains a retail force.

The commodity complex, which usually ranks among the country’s 20 largest centers, includes 2.2 million square meters of retail shops, dozens of restaurants and four hotels.
